With great sadness we have to write that Professor Gennady Matvienko, an outstanding scientist, talented organizer of science, respected mentor, and unique person passed away late in the evening on September 30, 2022.

It involves scientists and students interested in optical and physical properties of atmospheric aerosol, its impact on climate, atmospheric sources and sinks, and other research problems related to aerosol.
